I have returned to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Houston’s second Ward for a third time. I served here as associate pastor in the 1980’s, before moving to St. Philip of Jesus Church on Wallisville Road as pastor. I returned to Our Lady of Guadalupe as pastor in 2002, before being called to other missions in Mississippi and in Chicago. I returned in July of 2016, once again as associate pastor.

I grew up in a family of three sisters and a brother in Detroit, and I entered the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart in 1967, and received my training in seminary in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Chicago.  I was ordained a priest in 1978 and spent several years in parishes in Detroit and in Toronto, Canada, before being called to Houston in 1986.  I am very glad to return once more to Our Lady of Guadalupe and hope to spend many more years here.
